The biggest problem is that it needs 4 high slots (plus a 5th for the siege module) to do loldps. This makes it short a slot on the mids + lows compared the other dreads. This coupled with the need for 2 types of damage mods due to the split weapo...

I trained minmatar because I already had the training for mammoth (saved me 4 days) and I don't fill my hold every run. I also liked the minmatar T2 industrials. The Fenrir also aligns slightly faster, but that can be fixed if you have a corp mate...
